<p>Fiber materials in the form of fabrics receive, as a result of treatment with compositions according to the invention, a pleasant soft hand and excellent oil-and water-repelling properties with good permanence. The compositions can be obtained by a) preparing a solution of a polysiloxane and an extender with blocked isocyanate groups in an organic solvent, b) dispersing this solution in water, c) removing the organic solvent and d) combining the aqueous dispersion obtained with a second aqueous dispersion which comprises a polymer with perfluoroalkyl groups. One variant of this preparation process consists in cousing a polymer with perfluoroalkyl groups as early as in step a). In this case, step d) can be omitted.</p> |
