PREPARATION METHOD OF ELECTRORHEOLOGICAL FLUID USING POLYANILINE-LAMINAR CLAY COMPLEX PARTICLES

PURPOSE: A preparation method of electrorheological fluid by using clay particles having a high aspect ratio which are coated with dedoped polyanilines as dispersion particles is provided, to produce the electrorheological fluid showing high yield stress. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method of the electrorheological fluid comprises dispersing and polymerizing polyanilines on the surface of an aminosilane-treated laminar clay to obtain polyaniline-laminar clay complex particles; dedoping the complex particles; and dispersing the dedoped polyaniline-laminar clay complex particle on a dispersion matrix. The electrorheological fluid prepared by the method contains10-100 parts by weight of polyaniline-laminar clay complex particles dispersed on 100 parts by weight of the dispersion matrix.
