PURPOSE: A kimchi refrigerator is provided to prevent the back-flow of coolant by a back-flow preventing valve for preventing the decrease of the cooling speed caused by the lack of coolant and restrain the increase of the power consumption due to the unnecessary operation of evaporators. CONSTITUTION: A kimchi refrigerator includes a compressor(110), a first evaporator(145) for receiving coolant compressed by the compressor and generating chilled air to be supplied to a first storage space serving as a freezer chamber, a second evaporator(150) for receiving the coolant compressed by the compressor and generating chilled air to be supplied to a second storage space serving as a kimchi chamber of which temperature control range is higher than the first space, a coolant supply channel(113b) for transmitting the coolant subject to the first evaporation operation in the second evaporator to a suction hole of the first evaporator, and a coolant back-flow preventing valve(170) mounted to the coolant supply channel for preventing the instant back-flow of the coolant.
