The cycle has mechanical device to enable cyclist through skilled body movement and hand-operated release and fixing mechanism to move saddle during cycling in seconds to adjust saddle incline relative to terrain surface. An engaging slightly conical rounded-tip bolt (403) is released against spring force through a cable pulley (401) from a hole (406) and is activated by a handle on the handlebar so that the saddle can be rapidly adjusted on a large circle about the saddle support bearing before the bolt snaps back into the new position on releasing the handle.
