PURPOSE: A condensing water removing device for an air conditioner and a method thereof are provided to remove the condensing water of the air conditioner by atomizing the condensing water and removing the humidity of the atomized condensing water, thereby to remove the inconvenience for discharging the condensing water and keep the air conditioner clean. CONSTITUTION: A condensing water removing device for an air conditioner includes a water storing part(20) for introducing and storing condensing water of the air conditioner(10), an atomizer(30) for atomizing the condensing water stored in the water storing part, and a humidity removing part(40) for removing humidity by heating the atomized condensing water. The water storing part is a water storing tub(21) having an opened top part and a slant lower part. The atomizer includes an atomizing tub(31) at a lower part of the water storing tub, an inlet pipe(32) for introducing the condensing water from the water storing tub into the atomizing tub, and a vibrator(33) mounted at a bottom surface of the atomizing tub. The humidity removing part includes a heating pipe(41) provided to a side wall of the atomizing tub, and a hot wire(42) provided inside of the heating pipe.
