FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction of pipe- chute conduits for transportation of liquids, including aggressive liquids, both inside buildings and outside. Members of pipe-chute conduit are connected by flanges every meter of length and elastoplastic material sleeves are placed between flanges. Sleeves are compressed to designed value when flange bolts are tightened. Heating of pipe-chute conduit leads to elongation of its members which is compensated for by additional compression of sleeves. Cooling of pipe-chute conduit leads to increase of clearance between flanges which is compensated for by expansion of previously compressed sleeves. EFFECT: improved reliability in operation. 1 dwg
