The separation device (2) has a spreading mandrel (16) for insertion in a bearing boring (6) to apply a radial breaking force. There is also a vibration device (26), which acts via the mandrel to create an alternating dynamic force overlaying or preceding the breaking force, thus creating vibrations in the bearing boring.
