The door contact switch (10) has an actuator (12) provided with at least one magnetic element (22), cooperating with a sensor (14) having a Hall element (40) supplying a signal to a window comparator (46), providing an output signal when the Hall element signal lies within a defined range. A further output signal can be provided by a reed switch (38) cooperating with a second magnetic element (24) of the actuator. An Independent claim for a device with a contactless door contact switch and an external evaluation and switching device is also included.
