A hand-held cold chisel for stone or metal has a metal shank with an injection-moulded handle (3). The handle esp. terminates in a mushroom profile with a non-rim as seen from the handle end. The handle planform is pref. polygonal. The exposed handle end (6) has a thickened hammer impact zone.
