FIELD: mining industry; applicable in control of gas-dynamic processes in mine working marginal rock mass. SUBSTANCE: method includes machine cut. Working span is increased for period of cut joint. In this case, zone of stress concentration is displaced from working contour inside rock mass. Upon completion of machine cut joint, mine working walls recover their bearing capacity.
