SUBSTANCE: air is forced at controlled velocity over inserted colonoscope and active manual correction and fixation of position of movable loops of sigmoid and transverse colons are performed. Patients with high location of splenic and hepatic flexures take a deep diaphragmatic breath during passage of colonoscope and then hold breath for 5-7 sec.
