<p>A method of preventing or suppressing symptoms of psychosis by treating non-psychotic patients who are at risk of developing psychosis. The method includes determining whether a patient is at risk for developing psychosis; making a diagnosis that the patient is at risk; and administering to the patient a selective D3 antagonist prior to the time the patient is psychotic in an amount sufficient to prevent or suppress symptoms of psychosis.</p> |
