PURPOSE: A display device for an automatic binder is provided to prevent a sheaf of papers from being bound in a reversed state with respect to a cover when the paper sheaf and the cover are bound. CONSTITUTION: A nozzle(23) is arranged at a machine(11) for drying paste applied on the back of a paper sheaf and sprays ink to the paper sheaf conveyed by a conveyer(12). An air valve(24) supplies air to the nozzle(23). An ink storage container(25) supplies ink to the nozzle(23). A control box(26) controls the operation of the nozzle(23). A sensor(27) senses the front of the paper sheaf. A first sensing unit(28) determines the ink spray timing of the nozzle(23). A second sensing unit(31) determines the stop timing of nozzle operation(23).
