<p>The track (20,21) is supported on U-shaped frames (31) on top of vertical posts (32) standing on large feet (33). A linear motor may drive the wagons (100a-d). The track consists of straight (20a,21a) and curved (20b,21b) rails. There are sloping lead-in rails (21c) at the entrance to and exit from each curve. The outer rail on each curve is higher than the inner rail. The wagons have vertical carrier wheels with cylindrical treads running on top of the rails and horizontal guide wheels bearing on the inside surfaces of the rails.</p> |
