The invention relates to spatial sound reproduction. The corresponding electrical signals, which are necessary in order for the sound to be correctly processed by a piece of audio equipment, can originate from real situations, radio, television, etc. Unlike stereo sound, which avails of one location in order to listen in correctly and which requires two audio channels, the invention produces the spatial sensation of the origin of the sound in a plurality of locations using one single audio channel. The aforementioned channel processes the electrical signals corresponding to the sound that is to be reproduced and applies said signals to two loudspeakers so that said loudspeakers can each emit the sound generated to one another. For this purpose, the loudspeakers must be disposed opposite one another. The sound interference thus produced in a space between two loudspeakers creates the spatiality of the origin of the sound.
