<p>A process for the preparation of cellulosic shaped bodies is provided in which a solution of cellulose in a tertiary amine N-oxide and, optionally, water is shaped in the hot state and the shaped solution is cooled with a gaseous medium prior to being introduced into a coagulation bath, the gaseous medium flowing through the shaped solution from a gas inlet side to a gas outlet side. The process is characterised in that the gaseous medium is removed by suction on the gas outlet side in a direction substantially parallel to or substantially opposite to the direction of movement of the shaped solution.</p> |
