Integrated controller for control of a computer as well as a plug strip and target devices, maintains a separation of computer and peripherals such as printer, monitor, scanner, etc. from the power supply network by use of the plug strip. An electronic circuit in the form of a functional member is provided for control of units such as real time clock, telephone and voice recognition module, for regulation of the plug strip and for starting the computer, while software takes over user pre-programmed control tasks.
