Program adaptation method for washing machine drying cycle determines type and weight of washed items for selection of correct cycle parameters

The program adaptation method uses measured values for the washed items for determining the textile type and weight, for comparison with stored cycle parameters and adjustment of the drying cycle in dependence on the correct parameters. The measured values are obtained by sensors within the washing drum and compared with stored values corresponding to different textiles for determining the textile type.
