PURPOSE: A promoting agent for the regeneration of a bone obtained by dipping finely powered copper in an acid solution and heat-treating is provided, which is identified to induce osteoblast from a deficit of a bone to proliferate directly and widely. CONSTITUTION: The titled promoting agent for regenerating a bone comprising copper, copper oxide or mixtures thereof is prepared by heating finely grinded copper at 50 to 200deg.C, dipping in 10 to 50% by weight of an acid solution, leaving for 1 to 24 hr and washing with water.
