PURPOSE: A double action press device is provided to improve the forming property and to expand the forming range by supplying high pressure lubricant to a die face of a mold before a material panel reaches to a forming limit between a punch and a blank holder. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic tank(41) is installed in a lower die(1). A hydraulic pumping cylinder(31) pumps hydraulic pressure by installing in a die face(21) of the lower die and interlocking with the lowering operation of a blank holder(11). The hydraulic pumping cylinder is connected with the hydraulic tank with a pumping pipe(43). Many hydraulic venturi pipes(33) are installed through the die face and connected with the hydraulic tank through a hydraulic pipe to supply high pressure lubricant to the die face. A solenoid valve(37) controls the hydraulic pipe by an electric signal. A panel detecting sensor(39) outputs a signal to the solenoid valve by detecting a material panel(17) when an upper punch pressurizes the material panel. Thereby, the breakage and the crease of the panel are suppressed and the scratch on the panel is prevented. Moreover, the tensile limit of the material is overcome effectively.
