PURPOSE: To obtain a bending device in which bending work is performed by moving a bending jig by a simple mechanism. CONSTITUTION: This device has a fixed positioning jig 10 on which a clearance 8 through which a long-shaped base stock 1 is inserted is formed and the bending work is performed by moving the bending jig 28 on which a clearance 30 which is provided at the supply destination of the base stock from the positioning jig and through which the base stock is inserted. A rocking member 24 on which the bending jig is arranged in a dome part 26 formed into a spherical shell shape is provided, the dome part is slidably held with a pair of a fixed spherical convex member 14 and a spherical cocave member 20 and also the positioning jig is arranged on the spherical convex member 14. By rocking the rocking member by linearly driving mechanisms 36, 38, the bending jig 28 is moved along spherical surfaces 16, 22. The rocking member is rocked by three sets of linearly driving mechanisms.
