PURPOSE: An air conditioning apparatus for an automobile is provided to improve the heating property of second and third row seats by supplying warm air only to the second and third row seats through an auxiliary air duct and a heater core. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioning apparatus for an automobile includes an auxiliary air duct(2) additionally installed to separately flow air from the outside into a front of a heater core(140), a first door(3) installed inside the auxiliary air duct for opening and shutting air flow, an auxiliary blower(4) sucking in the air through the first door for sending the air to the heater core, and a second door(7) formed at an outlet of the heater core for selectively opening and shutting an inlet of an air duct(5) connected to a vent port of second and third row seats, wherein the second door shuts an air passage(9) inside the automobile while opening the inlet of the air duct.
