PURPOSE: A device for blocking outflow of molten steel in ladle is provided to block outflow of molten steel by having the lower part of the ladle cut off by porous plug before molten steel inside the ladle is being flown out as the wear state of the porous plug inside the ladle is not checked early, or the porous plug is abnormally worn out. CONSTITUTION: The device for blocking outflow of molten steel in ladle comprises a porous plug(4) in which a gas injection port is installed on a plug installed at the ladle; a blocking plate(3) one side of which is elastically supported to the lower part of the ladle and installed so that the blocking plate is moved from one side to the other side, and on which a gas penetration hole(11) corresponding to the gas injection port is formed; and a rope(14) one end of which is connected to the porous plug, and the other end of which is connected to one side of the blocking plate so that the rope maintains tension, wherein an opening part(5) is formed on the ladle at the lower part of the porous plug, a blocking brick(9) is elastically loaded upward on the upper surface of the blocking plate, the blocking brick is inserted into the opening part by the blocking plate that is moved from one side to the other side when tension of the rope(14) is released.
