PREPARATION METHOD OF VINYL CHLORIDE-BASED RESIN WITH GOOD IMPACT RESISTANCE

PURPOSE: A method for preparing a vinyl chloride-based resin and a vinyl chloride-based resin prepared by the method are provided, to improve the impact resistance of the vinyl chloride-based resin by enhancing the uniformity of distribution of particle size and inhibiting the generation of scale of the wall of a reactor after polymerization. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of preparing an acryl-based rubber latex by the emulsion polymerization of 100 parts by weight of an acrylate monomer, a cross-linking agent and an emulsifier; and preparing vinyl chloride graft copolymer by the suspension polymerization of the mixture comprising 100 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride-based monomer, the acryl-based rubber latex, and a partially gummed vinyl acetate resin with a degree of polymerization of 200-600 and a degree of hydration of 10-60 mol%. Preferably the suspension polymerization is carried out at 50-65 deg.C.
