PURPOSE: An ink jet head manufacturing method, an ink jet head, an ink applying apparatus, an ink applying method, and an organic electroluminescence display apparatus and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to sufficiently enhance the binding strength of a nozzle plate and a film and to precisely distribute ink. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing an ink jet head having a nozzle plate(16) having a nozzle hole and has a film having at least one of a water repellent function and an oil repellent function formed on one plate face thereof, the method comprises the steps of providing the film on one plate face of the nozzle plate, and etching the nozzle plate from the other plate face side, followed by removing the film adhered to the inner periphery face of the nozzle hole.
