PURPOSE: A system for controlling an external origination telephone using an NIM(Network Interface Module) and a control computer is provided to control the use of the external origination telephone using the NIM. CONSTITUTION: A switch system(300) has a NIM(400) for controlling an external origination telephone. A CPU(350) discriminates whether a function is limited and requests registration to the NIM(400). The NIM(400) performs a communication between the CPU(350) and a control computer(500). The control computer(500) connects to a network and performs a data process. A communication control unit(410) controls a communication in the NIM(400). A data buffer(430) prevents the loss of data in the NIM(400).
