The method increases the pressure within at least one hollow body, for obtaining a required pressure within a defined tolerance, using a pressure generator (DE) coupled to the hollow body (HK1,HK2,HK3), with measurement of the actual internal pressure before and during the pressure increase. The pressure is increased in steps, with the internal pressure increased at each step by a calculated amount and the pressure increase steps continued until the sum of the actual internal pressure before the increase and the pressure increase amounts lies within the tolerance range of the required pressure. An Independent claim for a device for controlling the internal pressure within a hollow body is also included. |
