PURPOSE: A power generator of a vehicle, having a double function is provided to secure space of an engine room by selectively connecting and diving two operating units. CONSTITUTION: In a power generator of a vehicle, having a double function, an air conditioner pump(11) rotated by an engine to generate power of an air conditioner and a starter(21) rotating a crank shaft in the initial starting of the engine are positioned on the same shaft through a clutch(30). The clutch is connected to a controller(40) selectively connecting and separating the clutch according to signals of an ignition key switch(41) and an air conditioner switch(42). Therefore, use of space of the engine room is improved.
