PURPOSE: A shaping control method using a nervous circuit network in a sendzimir mill is provided to decide a position of each segment, to simplify a calculating process of a shaping control and to increase the accuracy and the quickness. CONSTITUTION: A first shape detector(30a) or a second shape detector(30b) measures a shape of a steel plate(1) ventilated from a sendzimir mill(10). When the steel plate is passed thereon, the shape detector measures the shape of plate with a weight. A control unit(40) decides a position of each segment of top-crown-rollers(14a,14b) by receiving shape values(1-32) fed from the first and the second shape detectors(30a,30b). The control unit(40) outputs the positional value of each segment of top-crown-rollers(14b,14c) by receiving a signal of shape about the whole surface of the steel plate from the first or the second shape detector(30a). And the control unit(40) controls the shape of the steel plate in a regular value by driving an actuator to continuously move each segment in the appropriate position according to the output value with a hydraulic system(20).
