PURPOSE: A tension reducer of a seat belt is provided to reduce components and manufacturing cost by deleting one coiled spring and installing an additional detent device and a lever shaft. CONSTITUTION: A tension reducer of a seat belt(110) includes a stopper(114); a lever shaft(116); a detent device(118); a solenoid and a spring(134). An outside hanging end of the stopper is fixed to a cover. A coiled spring(112) is protruded to a middle portion of the stopper. The coiled spring is rolled from an inside hanging end(112A) having elasticity by rotation of the shaft. The lever shaft is fixed to one side of a webbing plate(100) near the coiled spring. The detent device is rotated by the lever shaft. One end(118A) of the detent plate is connected to a plunger(132) of the solenoid. The other end(118B) of the detent plate is installed to the shaft to hang the stopper when rotating. The solenoid is operated by licensing electricity from a buckle switch(124). The spring inserts elastically the plunger. The detent device is rotated by the solenoid and the spring. Thereby, components and cost are reduced by deleting one coiled spring and installing the additional detent device and the lever shaft.
