PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat the whole cooking body as uniformly as possible in a cooker using a flat cooking body such as a hot plate, and to provide a both-side plate both of the front and rear faces of which can selectively used as cooking faces and whole of the plate of which is washed since the plate has no electric parts unlike a conventional both-side plate. SOLUTION: A heat pipe 8 of excellent thermal responsiveness extending in a width direction, e.g. is buried inside of the plate thickness of the flat cooking body 4, and a heater supporting groove 5 is formed as a recessed groove at a periphery part. A heater 3 to be fitted into the groove 5 is arranged at a cooker main body 1. When the periphery part of the cooking body is heated by the heater 3, the heat is transmitted to the center part of the cooking body through the heat pipe to heat the whole cooking body speedily.
