PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size, weight and cost while enlarging the effective print width and reducing the running cost. SOLUTION: Ink ejection nozzle arrays 12Y, 12R, 12BL and 12BK forming a print head 10 are arranged in series along the sheet feeding direction (Y direction) wherein an ink tank 13BK containing black ink, among ink tanks 13Y, 13R, 13BL and 13BK communicating with respective ink ejection nozzle arrays 12Y, 12R, 12BL and 12BK, is formed selectively to have a capacity larger than that of any other ink tank 13Y, 13R, 13BL containing other color inks. |
