PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a feed composition effective on preventing diseases of Salmoniformes fishes, especially coldwater disease. SOLUTION: This feed composition is obtained by adding at least one kind of yeast (it may be autolyzed one) selected from yeasts belonging to Hansenula, Rhodotorula and Candida to the pisciculture feed of Salmoniformes fishes. It is preferable that the yeast or the autolyzed yeast is included in the feed composition at 1-35 wt.%, and as for the yeast, for example, Hansenula anomala, Rhodotorula glutinis or Candida utilis is used. |
