PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide at a low cost a power steering device in which leakage of oil is surely prevented and a backlash is maintained to be zero over a long time. SOLUTION: A pressing means S1 provided to a gear case 1 comprises a plate spring 20 as a spring member, a bolt 21 as a fixing member, and a spherical body 22 as a contact member. The bolt 21 is inserted through a bolt hole 23 of the plate spring 20, and the bolt 21 is threadedly engaged to a screw groove 25, thereby fixing a one surface 20a of the plate spring 20 to a piston 3. The other surface 20b of the plate spring 20 is provided with a spherical body support hole 24, and the spherical body 22 is supported by the spherical body support hole 24 and an inner peripheral surface of the gear case 1 so as to be sandwiched therebetween. The plate spring 20 is flexed to be pressed to the piston 3. A line of action by the plate spring 20 is indicated by an arrow B, and is offset with respect to an axial center of the piston 3, thereby applying rotation force to the piston 3.
