<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas filling device capable of filling gas into, in particular, a pneumatic tire and separating it from the object after that by remote operation and provide a method therefor. SOLUTION: This gas filling device 1 is provided with a second coupling member 9 capable of being mounted on/dismounted from a first coupling member 8 provided on the pneumatic tire 2 side and having a separation means 13 capable of separating it from the first coupling member 8 by remote operation, a gas supply means 10, a main valve means 11 for controlling a stream of gas directed toward the second coupling member 9 from the gas supply means 10 by opening and closing operations, and an auxiliary valve means 12 for leaking the gas shut in between the main valve means 11 and the second coupling member 9 by the closing operation of the main valve means 11.</p> |
