PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling control device for a vehicle provided with a barrier-free type traveling control system travelable by a constant speed traveling control even on a general road and drivable by even a handicapped person having trouble in the legs and arms. SOLUTION: This traveling control device for the vehicle has a foot operation means and a manual operation means for performing each of a driving operation and a braking operation. The traveling control device is provided with a vehicle speed change and control means for changing vehicle speed based on an operation of the foot operation means or the manual operation means and a constant speed control means. The vehicle speed change and control means is capable of changing and controlling vehicle speed based on the operation of the foot operation means or the manual operation means during the constant speed traveling of the constant speed traveling control means.
