PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work fixing tool simple in structure and capable of facilitating step-up for replacing a work in machining, surely fixing the work, achieving high-accuracy machining, and fixing various shapes of works. SOLUTION: A permanent magnet 11 is mounted in a first reference surface 3 of a base 1 having a first to third reference surfaces 3 to 5 intersecting perpendicularly to each other to thereby attract and hold the lower surface of the work 2 with magnetic force, and simultaneously a pressing member 18 is moved on the first reference surface 3 toward the second and/or the third reference surface 4, 5 to mechanically clamp and fix the work 2 from bi-axial direction between the side surface and the second and/or third reference surface 4, 5. Thus, accurate positioning and strong fixing can be realized by simple set-up and operation, so as to secure easiness of changing works and achieve high- accuracy machining.
