PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment tool which is used for cleaning work of, for example, the bodies of automobiles, bathrooms or interior walls, etc., or the surface treatment tool which is usable for various applications like glaze coating applicators used for glazing of the bodies of the automobiles, furniture, etc. SOLUTION: This surface treatment tool 11 is formed by additionally attaching an elastic material 13 innumerably having fine open cells to a planar core material 12 and providing the planar core material 12 with grooves 14 for folding.
