PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn comprising a mixed fiber (the fiber is formed of a mixture of a polymer and a cell matrix particle) or a hollow fiber (the fiber is formed of a core of the cell matrix particle surrounded by a porous polymer sleeve), and a fabric knitted or woven by use of the yarn. SOLUTION: In this yarn comprising a connective tissue particle and a porous polymer, the connective tissue particle is obtained through the following processes: a) freezing a connective tissue source containing a living cell, thereby pulverizing the living cell to form a cell residue; b) treating the connective tissue source in order to remove the cell residue from the connective tissue source without removing factors necessary for growth and differentiation of cell to form a treated connective tissue source; and c) fragmenting the treated connective tissue source to produce the connective tissue particle. This yarn is formed of a central nucleus and an outside cylinder, the central nucleus comprising the connective tissue particle and the cylinder comprising the porous polymer. The fabric is made by knitting or weaving the yarn. |
