PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joined structure which has high strength in the production of a joint consisting of dissimilar metallic members. SOLUTION: In the joined structure obtained by joining dissimilar metallic materials 1 and 2, base metal crystals containing >=90 atomic % base metal atoms 4 exist in a reaction product layer 3 formed on a joining boundary.
