PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved transplantable hernia repairing prosthesis for repairing a lesion by covering it. SOLUTION: This hernia repairing prosthesis is provided with a blocking member inserted in the hernia tissue and/or holding the hernia tissue. The blocking member can be deformed from a first structure having a first shaft length and a first radial large spread to a second structure having a second shaft length and a second radial large spread. The second shaft length is smaller than the first shaft length, and the second radial large spread is larger than the first radial large spread. The blocking member includes a pair of sub- sections having tip parts. Each sub-section is spread from the tip part to the terminal part. The tip part is positioned at the end part on the opposite side of the blocking member having the overlapping terminal part, and a pair of sub-sections are connected with the overlapping terminal parts close to each other.
