PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for casting a cylinder head in which a molten metal is rapidly filled over the entire die for the cylinder head, and to provide a homogeneously formed cylinder head element. SOLUTION: A sand core 40 for a water jacket is held by a fixed die 21 and a movable die 30, and a cavity of the cylinder head is demarcated. The cavity provides a combustion chamber 6 and a cam chain chamber 8, and a plurality of core prints 41 of the core 40 are located on the same circumference around a combustion chamber forming part 23. A sprue 22 is located on the side opposite to the core prints 41 with respect to a protruded part 31 for forming the cam chain chamber to demarcate the cam chain chamber. A bypass runner 25 facing a tip surface of the protruded part 31 for forming the cam chain chamber, extending in the direction across the cam chain chamber, and directed toward an area within the same circumference is formed in the fixed die 21. |
