The abrasive grains D in the adjacent arrangement regions are regularly arranged so that the direction of arrangement becomes the reverse direction for the direction of rotation of the grinding wheel for each other. By arranging the abrasive grains in this way, the periodicity in the direction of arrangement of the abrasive grains is eliminated in each divided region, and noise of specific frequency is reduced. Moreover, by inverting the direction of arrangement of the abrasive grains D alternately, chipping and chip do not occur on a ridge line of a material to be ground.
