PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal apparatus in which solid matter is surely removed from water to be treated, which contains solid matter, with a simple structure and a centrifugal method thereof. SOLUTION: In the centrifugal separation of the water to be treated, which contains the solid matter and supplied to a separation tank 6 rotating at a high speed, a flexible bag like body 10 is housed in the separation tank and the water to be treated, which contains the solid matter, is supplied into the bag like body. The solid matter is substantially collected in the inside surface of the bag like body and is not stuck on the separation tank. Then, works requiring large labor and time, such as cleaning and stripping, are dispensed with.
