PURPOSE: A smoke absorbing device is provided to reduce smoke generated from construction equipment by mixing steam with exhaust gas by generating steam using exhaust gas generated from construction equipment. CONSTITUTION: A pair of partitions(12a,12b) are installed at an inner portion of a body(10) of a purifying device, thereby forming a pair of circulation passages. Purifying water is contained between the partitions(12a,12b). An inlet pipe(16) is connected to an exhaust port of construction equipment. The inlet pipe(16) extends between the partitions(12a,12b). Exhaust gas introduced into one of circulation passages heats purifying water, thereby generating steam. Exhaust gas is mixed with steam and is exhausted through the other circulation passage.
