PURPOSE: A carrier for an ink cartridge of an ink-jet printer is provided to prevent a locking lever from restoring to a locking position by self-weight by inserting an elastic protrusion into a fixing groove when the locking lever is in an opening position, thereby limiting a rotative moving angle of the locking lever and reducing the size of an inner space of the ink-jet printer. CONSTITUTION: A carrier(100) for an ink cartridge of an ink-jet printer includes a case(10) for mounting a print head(30) and an ink cartridge(40), a locking lever(20) installed on the case for rotatively moving between a locking position and an opening position, an elastic protrusion(23) elastically protruded at the side of the locking lever, and a fixing groove for inserting the elastic protrusion when the locking lever is in the opening position.
