PURPOSE: Provided are an inter-core material containing composite polypropylene swelling yarn which has excellent swelling property, is inexpensive and reduces production cost, and a manufacturing method thereof being capable of omitting an intermediate core. CONSTITUTION: The inter-core material containing the polypropylene swelling yarn is obtained by a process containing the steps of: preparing a swelling binder; adding super absorbent resin to the binder, and dissolving it to prepare a swelling composition; dipping polypropylene yarn into the swelling composition, followed by drying it to produce the swelling polypropylene yarn; and then stranding the swelling PP yarn and a non-coated PP yarn.
