PURPOSE: An adjusting device of a height for a vehicle is provided to improve the convenience of a driver and to maintain the optimum status of the riding comfort according to the status of road surfaces by installing a status detector of the road surfaces and automatically adjusting the height of the vehicle according to the status of the road surfaces. CONSTITUTION: A status detector(10) of road surfaces generates organic voltage in proportion to the vibration of a vehicle by elastically reciprocating toward the height of the vehicle according to the vibration. An ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(3) adjusts the height of the vehicle by controlling an operating unit of an ECS(Electronic Control Suspension)(2) with a signal from the status detector. Thereby, the damage of a chassis is prevented by previously preventing the contact between the chassis and the road surfaces. Moreover, the driver's convenience and the passenger's riding comfort are improved.
