PURPOSE: Provided are an in vivo system for detecting a protease and its inhibitors, thereby detecting a compound inhibiting or blocking a protease associated with a human pathogen. CONSTITUTION: The system for detecting a protease contains a fusion protein of (1) at least one signal protein of which signal is possibly blocked; (2) at least one restriction recognition site of protease; and (3) at least one amino acid sequence capable of being detected which is composed of constituents linked by covalent bond which are linked by covalent bond.
