PURPOSE: A photoreactive diacrylate and dimethacrylate derivative and its preparation method are provided, to improve the adhesive strength, the heat stability and the thin film making processability and to reduce the coefficient of thermal expansion. CONSTITUTION: The photoreactive diacrylate and dimethacrylate derivative is represented by the formula 1, wherein R is H or CH3; X is a molecular fragment which can initiate the cyclic addition reaction at the double bonds existed in the repeating unit by the irradiation of UV light; and n is an integer of 0-10. Preferably X is cinnamoyl group, chalcone group, coumarin group, or anthracene group. Preferably the molecular fragment X is represented by the formula a or b.
